nature and the great outdoors. Here, there is not MTV - only the sweet
song of the whippoorwill and the soft chorus of evening crickets. How
many of us can remember that magical moment when we caught our first fish
or climbed our first mountain! For countless generations, the Adirondacks
has helped shape our values and build character in our children. As our
world continues to grow more complicated, perhaps the greatest gift we
can give our children is a deep love, respect and understanding for nature.
