The 2002 Arts
& Events Calendar, published by the Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks,
is a comprehensive listing of cultural activities scheduled this summer
and early autumn in the Adirondack region. There are over 100 organizations
throughout the region providing cultural entertainment to residents and
visitors. All information about the performances, exhibits, workshops and
events listed in the Calendar (including dates, times, location and content)
is compiled from information supplied by the sponsoring organization. Due
to space limitations, descriptions of the events have been edited. For more
information, reservations or to confirm listings, please contact the sponsoring
organization.
As in any creative environment, arts organizations are constantly being
created or changed, so many fine cultural events may be omitted. The Arts
Council or Adirondacks.com is not responsible for any cancellations or
schedule changes.
If you need more help, contact the Arts Council office
at 23 North Main Street, PO Box 187, Westport, NY 12993, (518) 962-8778.
We will be happy to help you obtain any information you might need regarding
the Arts in the Northern Adirondacks.
